Hammond - The funeral of Mr Ronald David ‘Ron/Ronnie’ Hammond of Newmerella, will leave St James Anglican Church, Orbost, after a service commencing at 11.00am on Thursday (Aug. 28), 2025, for the Orbost Lawn Cemetery. Hammond - Ronald David ‘Ron/Ronnie’ 13th July 1954 - 12th August 2025. Passed away suddenly while working on his farm in Newmerella, aged 71. Adored husband of Erryn, Much loved father of Rowan, Lauren and Alexander, Cherished Pa of Rufus and Lillian and father-in-law of Sonja and Erin. Constant companion of Percy and Harry. Forever in our hearts. A giant in our lives. He was a hardworking and intelligent gentleman, with a great sense of humour who loved his family and farm. Always willing to give others a hand. We will forever miss finding him up in his shed or the sound of his motorbike across the paddocks. Remembered with love. Thank you for all the support and condolences we’ve received during this time.
